With its 3.8-liter turbocharged V6 putting out 545 HP and the ability to hit 62 mph from standstill in less than 3 seconds, driving the Nissan GT-R is all about going fast. But there is a limit to how fast you can go on the public streets, and unluckily few of Godzilla’s owners seem to grasp that. In the video below, shot at an apparent gathering of GT-R owners, this driver puts the pedal so far to the metal that he actually goes airborne. Which only goes to show how close some GT-Rs come to jet aircraft in their levels of thrust. Unluckily unlike the fighter-pilots who are trained to handle that power and plant them back down on narrow airstrips safely, the end doesn’t turn out so well for the driver in this video.
