It may not be a direct comparison everyone is waiting for the Ferrari 488GTB, but pitting a Porsche 911 Turbo S against it really draws some interesting conclusions. And Ferrari’s decision to replace the screaming, naturally aspirated V8 of the 458 with the cleaner twin-turbo unit may have disappointed a few people but on the other hand it resulted to the first turbocharged mid-engined model since a F40. Not to mention the frankly ridiculous 660 horsepower, courtesy of the new 3.9-litre V8. Porsche’s fastest iteration of the 911 has gained the fame of the true ballistic machine, thanks to its smart four-wheel drive system and turbocharged flat-six at the back which now makes 572 horsepower and incorporates some of the most impressive tech in a market. Auto Express decided to compare the two models on the UK roads, despite a difference in price, trying to find out which one works better for use on public roads.
Whoa.. that was a crazy video. Now check out this next one!
