Vodka martinis. Perfectly tailored suits. There are countless examples of iconic imagery sprinkled throughout James Bond movies, but perhaps none is more memorable than 007’s choice transportation. During his time at MI6, Mr. Bond and his adversaries have had the pleasure of driving a wide variety of vehicles, ranging from stunning Aston Martins to weaponized submarines to combat aircraft. It really didn’t matter if these cars have the cool super spy gadgets that were courtesy of Q. Just owning one would make you feel like James Bond. The cars are unattainable — grand and rich. They would simply make you the coolest person on earth if you happen to own any of them. The Aston Martin DB5 is the quintessential Bond car and it first appeared in Goldfinger, and it is both the most famous Bond car and one of the most iconic vehicles in the history of film. In addition to gorgeous lines and stunning speed, Bond’s DB5 featured machine guns, a bulletproof shield, radar and that über-cool ejector seat that could send villains flying at the push of a button. The Aston Martin is sleek and beautiful and the superspy behind the wheel isn’t too bad either.
